    As a Business Development Representative, you are the first point of contact for prospective new customers. Working as part of our team, you will develop a deep knowledge of your target market, and kick start conversations with prospective customers to discover if their company’s needs and our offerings align. 

    About You

    • Looking to progress your career in Software Sales (SaaS) 
    • You will be goal oriented and work towards meeting deadlines.
    • Interested in technology 
    • Excellent writing skills with attention to grammar and tone
    • Fluency in written and spoken English
    • A strong communicator with good telephone etiquette
    • A self starter with the ability and flexibility to work on your own initiative

    Day to Day Responsibilities

    • Prospect new leads through a sales engagement platform and leverage sales tools to engage targeted prospects.
    • Develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities.
    • Conduct outbound lead generation campaigns via as email, phone, social media 
    • Align with the Account Executives you support to effectively plan and deploy your prospecting strategy
    • Conduct qualification meetings with new customers
    • Update, and maintain daily activity and prospect information in Copper CRM
    • Collaborate with the Marketing team on campaign outreach 
    • Meet & exceed monthly and quarterly targets

    Nice-to-haves

    • 1+ years of SaaS SDR experience
    • Previous startup experience
    • Copper CRM experience
    • Degree in Business Studies
